Originally from New Jersey, Amy Paszkowski wanted to be a veterinarian as a young child. Pursuing her dream, Amy graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from Lebanon Valley College of Pennsylvania in 1990. She then attended Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine while working on campus in the microbiology lab and at various veterinary clinics in the summers. Amy graduated Cum Laude from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1994. After practicing at two different veterinary practices doing both large and small animals, she moved to the sunny South. While doing relief work, Dr. Paszkowski opened Elberta Animal Hospital in 1997. Her practice now concentrates on surgery, dentistry, internal medicine, dermatology, and radiology of small animals. She enjoys small animal practice in a small town. Dr. Paszkowski loves spending time with her husband of 19 years, Kevin McCormick, and their two children. They have an 14 year old son, Ian, and a 12 year old daughter, Megan. Dr. Amy, as the locals call her, also enjoys biking and Auburn football.
